NGO’s and Aligarh Muslim University organised a week long programme dedicated to Cancer .I am honoured to have been part of it .The rally started from the Aligarh University campus and people joined in as we marched along .Dr Anshuman ,himself a Cancer surgeon led the rally .Shweta Tripathi ,a vibrant journalist joined in for the same .
How a polluted environment,stress and poor lifestyle are causing this disease to shoot up in numbers was the main concern .A street play and musical programme was dedicated to address this challenge .An awareness programme is a good start ,always .
