Pictures speak louder than words .A free health checkup camp organized by my NGO Tree for Life in association with Metro hospital at Kalkaji .This was inclusive of 9 bastis and slums around the area .
Successful effort ,as more number of women than men showing a positive increase in health awareness in women during the course of last 5 years .
Complete heart checkup with ECG ,blood pressure ,sugar levels ,weight ,height ,nutrition and a consult with a general physician -these were the facilities . I engaged a lot of women in talk about how they should take care of their menstural hygiene ,health ,nutrition making them understand that only if they are healthy can they be able to do justice and take care of their family .
We dedicated this camp and the blessings generated to our soldiers fighting on the LOC ,India Pakistan an date safe return of Wing Commander Abhinandan Vartman !
