On the occasion of International Day for Elimination of violence against women ,the National Women Excellence Awards were felicitated to women who contributed to the society and the country through their credible work .Diplomats,politicians,social activists,dancers,educationists and many more categories were demarcated for this prestigious award .Sharon Lowen,Sangeeta gupta (income tax commissioner),Kavita Ashok(social activist ,etiquette consultant)and women from various walks of life received this award .Speakers included Kumud Dewan ,Shovana Narayan and Rama Pandey .Seen at the event were Ratan Kaul,Laxmi singhal,vijay tiwari ,Maj R.N Maharshi,Mukesh anand,Vijay Handa and women who were recipient of Padamabhushan and Padmashris .I feel grateful to the Universe 
for this honour and am inspired to work harder and smarter in 2014 !
